Less than a week ago this was my view. I was at an amazing retreat in Clearwater Beach, Florida. So amazing that I couldn’t put my thoughts into a post. It’s amazing how today’s cold New England air cleared my mind as I shoveled the driveway. I am so thankful.

I woke up this morning in a warm home with my babies tucked in their bed. I did not fret that my husband was away and school had a delay. I did not think about child care or calling into work because I am my own boss. I cleared the snow with an able body and then came inside to a fridge that had all the ingredients needed needed to make a filling breakfast. I am filled with gratitude. 
Is this the path that I thought I would be on? A work from home mom? An entrepreneur? Nope, not at all. I think that every step along my personal journey prepared me for this moment. A moment alone in my driveway thankful for all that I have, all that is still to come, for trusting the journey, and appreciating that all the stars aligned to give me this life. I’ve learned that things don’t always go as planned but that those unplanned moments may be exactly what you need to soar.
